So let's just call Messi the Argentine Payet, shall we?

I hate the Messi comparisons: the Nordic Messi, the French Messi, the you're-stretching-this-analogy-too-far Messi. But you know what? There's nothing really else to compare this Payet goal to. In fact, this would even be a fantastic goal from Messi. So let's just call Messi the Argentine Payet, shall we?

In today's match between West Ham and Middlesbrough, the Frenchman felt himself get an edge on a defender, and like an infomercial knife through a stack of paper, once he started, he just made his way all the way through. Let's try and count shall we? (Holds up hands, mumbles to self under breath….) I've got a five-count. Ah, then there's the keeper. Just wrecked. Too bad it only led to a tie. But good goddamn.
