Lakers Investigating Sexual Harassment Claims Against Nick Young and Jordan Clarkson

Nick Young and Jordan Clarkson reportedly sexually harassed a sexual harassment activist focusing on athletes.

Last Sunday at around 7:30 p.m. in Hollywood, a sexual harassment activist focusing on educating athletes, claims she and her mother were themselves sexually harassed by a Jeep full of men. Alexis Jones snapped a picture of the men in the car and posted a long message on Instagram detailing the incident. Two of the men were soon identified as Nick Young and Jordan Clarkson.

Five minutes ago, at the intersection of Melrose and La Bre here in LA, a jeep of four boys pulled up at a red light and started yelling and making the most disgustingly vulgar gestures at my mom and me. I rarely "rant" about things but this is the f%+#ing problem and the reason I've now dedicated my life to educating young men about respect, not just for women but for everyone. I'm angry. I'm insulted. I'm hurt. They were laughing hysterically until they realized I was filming them and immediately they panicked like the cowards they are.

Jones elaborated on what happened to ESPN. She told ESPN that she and her 68-year-old mother were just leaving dinner when the car pulled up alongside them and the men inside began making "vulgar and sexual" gestures towards her mother. Jones said her mother was "super rattled" by the ordeal saying her "mom was really shocked. That immediately turned into sobbing."

When Nick Young learned of the story he posted a tweet that has since been deleted, seemingly denying the whole thing.

Jones also told ESPN that the Lakers have reached out and apologized to her. Lakers spokesman John Black offered to have Jones come in to talk to the Lakers, and Young and Clarkson individually. But Jones was not able to do that, and requested a phone call discussion instead. That request was declined. But Black told ESPN that the Lakers take this "very seriously" and they are investigating the matter further.
