We Practiced with Canada's Dodgeball Team Ahead of the World Championships in Australia

Who will be this year's Peter La Fleur?

Let's get this out of the way with right off the bat: Yes, Canada has a dodgeball team, and yes, they're good. While many may not know it, dodgeball is an international sport and each year the best countries in the world compete for supremacy. That time of the year is now.

With the world championships taking place next week in Australia, we caught up with Canada's top players, who put our own dodgeball guinea pig through a rigorous practice. It didn't take long for Richenzo to find out this is not the easy-going dodgeball we all remember from gym class.

Canada will send both a men's and women's team to Australia, and both have enjoyed tremendous success in the past. The men's team won gold in 2013 and 2014 before taking home a bronze last year, while the women were the 2013 gold medalists.

Who's ready to take the game over and be this year's Peter La Fleur? We'll soon find out. The tournament runs from Oct. 19-22.
