If you’re gonna be in Detroit this evening, then you’re really in luck—Danny Brown’s second annual Bruiser Thanksgiving is set to take place, featuring performances from Brown and his Bruiser Brigade, DJ Spinn, DJ Taye, The Era footwork dancing crew, and more.
During the day, Brown will also be running a city-wide poetry workshop for teens and young adults, Pitchfork reports.

On top of that, he recently helped raise $15,000 dollars benefitting the Inside Out Literary Arts project, Detroit’s largest literary arts education nonprofit, moving them a little closer to their dream of “placing a poet in every classroom.”
