DJ Sneak is Making “Moody Warehouse Music”

Whether you want to call DJ Sneak a house gangster, pioneer, OG, or all of the above, what you can always count on from him is quality and the necessary beats to jack your body on the dance floor. Sneak has been making beats since ’83, and is highly recognized for revolutionizing and redefining electronic music for over twenty years.

To this day, you can find DJ Sneak across the globe delivering high-energy sets fuelled with prime beats, fresh funk and groove. And if you didn’t get a chance to catch one of his European sets last time you were overseas, his legendary podcast, “Budcast” highlights new music he finds through his travels, while his “Vinylcast” offers top-notch old school electronic music. From listening to his personal top ten vinyl picks, we can promise his curator skills are very on-point.

This summer DJ Sneak is launching a new series; an idea that sits behind all of the feelings generated at parties hosted in unconventional spaces, hence: Moody Warehouse Music. According to DJ Sneak, this series is “all about my mood when playing in warehouses and is strictly underground dirty, moody house rhythms.”

To hear what this new series has to offer and to get a glimpse of a man who’s inspired talent such as Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx, and Armand Van Helden: A required stop on your day two experience at Digital Dreams Festival this year is catching Sneak at the No.19 Social Experiment stage. This is a classic, and if you consider yourself a true fan of house music, you will be there.
