(via)Gabby Scanlan, an 18-year-old woman from Lancashire, drank a cocktail that contained a small amount of liquid nitrogen, complained of stomach pains and eventually had to have her stomach removed.She is said to be seriously ill, but in a stable condition in hospital.Police have not yet named the bar where the cocktail was sold, but have confirmed that it will no longer be selling any drinks that use the cooling chemical, a signature of molecular gastronomist, Heston Blumenthal.Music

A man tagged an expensive painting with a marker pen(via)Witnesses at the Tate Modern saw a man sitting in front of a multimillion-pound painting by Russian artist, Mark Rothko, before calmly approaching it and scrawling something in the corner with a black pen.The museum closed temporarily, before reopening and confirming that someone had indeed vandalised the painting.As of yet, no one knows who the vandal is – although one of words appears to say "Vladimir" – or why he did it, but one art lover remarked "I am a naturally peaceful person, but I wouldn't be that upset if 'Vladimir' accidentally met with a baseball bat."
