That wise man is Thom Beers, executive producer of The Great Halloween Fright Fight. He knows a thing or two about fear—having survived multiple plane crashes, been stabbed, and lived in a haunted house.

But for Beers, the one thing that is truly terrifying is having a bad meal, and we agree. That’s why we’re sharing his recipe for Halloween pumpkin pizza with you. All you have to do is substitute the usual tomato sauce with a rich pumpkin purée that will add the perfect Hallow’s Eve touch. It’s as delicious as it is spooky… actually, it’s considerably more delicious than it is spooky.
But it’s also got Italian turkey sausage, mushrooms, olives, and three kinds of cheese, so it will still be kind of familiar—kind of how a ghost is pretty similar to a real person.
