Enrol to Vote Then Celebrate With All These Sick Discounts

The election is less than two weeks away, and at last count, 250,000 of us in the 18-29 age group still hadn’t enrolled to vote. That’s a quarter of a million Kiwis who need to get across the line if they want to have a say.

Voting has officially started but it’s not too late to enrol and have your say. In fact, you can enrol right up until next Friday, September 22. (The election is on September 23, btw.) For those who have enrolled, we want to celebrate with you. Vote right now
Did you know you can walk up to a voting station right now, today, and cast your vote? You don’t need to be enrolled, and you don’t need to bring anything with you. Amazing. Here’s a map where you can find a polling booth near you right now.

Enrol right now, vote on election day
If you want to vote on election day, you can enrol now. You’ll need to either enrol for the first time if you haven’t before, or update your details if you’ve moved since last election. This takes about 1 minute – you’ll need to sign your papers and send them off, or you can pop into a post office and do it there. You can check your enrolment status here. All the details here. You have to enrol before 22 September!

Overseas voting
If you’re offshore, you can still vote right now. Just download overseas voting papers, fill them out, and re-upload them. The whole thing only takes a few minutes, and all the details are here.
