President Barack Obama said the Orlando, Florida nightclub shooting that left at least 50 people dead was an act of "terror and hate," and represents an attack on all Americans. Watch his statement here.

"We are still learning all the facts, this is an open investigation" the president said. "I've reached no definitive judgment on the motivations of the killer. The FBI is investigating this as an act of terror."

This could have been any one of our communities," the presidente added. "As a country we will be there for the people of Orlando."
