The New 'Deadpool 2' Trailer Savagely Roasts the DC Universe

There's also a Thanos joke in there, because of course.

The final trailer for Deadpool 2 is here, and if you weren't already excited for the return of everyone's favorite terribly-scarred superhero, you should be now. The trailer, which 20th Century Fox dropped on Thursday, has everything you could want from a Deadpool trailer—explosions, dry one-liners, Deadpool diving crotch-first onto Cable, and naturally, a couple of well-placed digs at the DC universe. As Deadpool says to kick off the new clip, "you all know the drill."

"You're just a clown dressed up as a sex toy," Cable, played by Josh Brolin and sporting a finally-finished CG arm, tells Deadpool in the trailer.

"So dark!" he replies, unfazed by the giant knife Cable just plowed into his shoulder blade. "You sure you're not from the DC Universe?"

This last trailer also gives us a more in-depth look at the newly-assembled "super-duper fucking group," the X-Force, including Bedlam (Terry Crews), Shatterstar (Lewis Tan), and Zazie Beetz's Domino, who gets a chance to show off just how cinematic her superpower can be. We get to see more Cable, too, of course, at least enough for Deadpool to continue to decimate the fourth wall by calling him "Thanos," referring to Josh Brolin's other Marvel supervillain with a goofy arm thing from Avengers: Infinity War.

Deadpool 2 is directed by David Leitch and will hit theaters May 18. If these trailers and the early test screening scores are to be trusted, it's going to be really fucking wild.
