Poly Styrene died late last night at the age of 53 after suffering from breast cancer. She was--as we can only hope you know--the lead singer of X-Ray Spex. Throughout her career, Poly was a pioneer and an inspiration. Just last month she released a solo record, Generation Indigo, which you should buy right now. And because we've been listening to this all day, here's "Germ Free Adolescents."
