SKINS HITS HELSINKI

Gavin Watson has just embarked on a pan-Scandinavian photo tour, to coincide with the re-release of his book Skins. The exhibition opened in Stockholm at Färgfabriken, which is basically a slippery wet artsy dream where conceptual art-scientists spend hundreds of thousands of euros on emulating the sun by creating magma and other treats like that.

Some 800 people milled around the place during the opening night and Watson also gave two lectures where people got to know who lived and who died and who went triple fried bananas after the photos were taken.
On Friday the exhibition will open to the public at Helsinki10 at Eerikinkatu 3 in (duh) Helsinki.
The exhibition will run until November 30, and is open weekdays 11AM-8PM and Saturdays, 11AM-6PM.
