The Jets recently acquired Percy Harvin to fill the sorely-needed role of playmaker and he almost broke off a long kickoff return at the end of the first half. We say almost because Kansas City's kicker, Cairo Santos, saved the touchdown by tripping Harvin before he left everyone in the dust. Harvin had nothing but open field ahead of him and rather than try to tackle a runner with a full head of steam, Santos just stuck his foot out. Harvin kept his feet on the play, but was disturbed enough that the Chiefs coverage team was able to catch up with him.

While the play saved a touchdown, the Jets began their drive on the Kansas City 33-yard line with the bonus ten yards of field position thanks to Santos. Unfortunately, with 30 seconds left in the half, it ended as so many have before, with a field goal. Still, the KC mascot did not take it well.
