DeSean Jackson Immediately Booed By Eagles Fans, Philly Returns Kickoff for First Time Since 2008

Desean Jackson gets booed, Philly returns kick 102 yards for touchdown.

Well, that didn't take long. On the second play of Washington's opening series at the Linc, Kirk Cousins threw a six-yard pass to DeSean Jackson on the sideline and the former Eagle was immediately and vociferously booed by the home crowd. Jackson was released by the Eagles this offseason and signed with Philly's NFC east rivals shortly thereafter. He would later give Philly fans a little shot, saying Washington fans were more supportive. He seems to have proven them right.

Washington continued on and drove 82 yards in 11 plays for a touchdown. Chip Kelly is big on efficiency, though, so the Eagles returned the ensuing kickoff 102 yards to level the score. It was the third-longest return in Philadelphia history and the first since 2008.
