Fire decimates famed Romanian metalcore band Goodbye to Gravity

As we previously reported, the outbreak of fire at the Colectiv Club in Bucharest has caused a ripple effect in the country. A large swath of protests have broken out citing the club's many fire code violations as part of the country's gross negligence and susceptibility to corruption. Now the three club managers are currently facing charges of manslaughter and the prime minister himself has stepped down.

Meanwhile, the death toll has been steadily climbing since the October 30th fire. Its latest count is at 54, reports Yahoo News, which includes the bassist for the metalcore band Goodbye to Gravity, who were performing when the fire broke out. Only one member out of the quintet has survived.
