Split Secs' Latest EP Has Something for Everyone

Remixes from Mike Simonetti, Secret Circuit, Monty Luke, and Blakkat hit several different shades on one record.

Split Secs have left quite the trail of breadcrumbs leading up to the release of their latest effort for Machine Limited. The LA duo posted clips of the EP, I Stand Alone, two months back, and a few weeks ago, they unveiled the remix of the titular track from Italians Do It Better boss Mike Simonetti in full. Now, at long last, we have the exclusive stream of the entire EP, which includes the Chicago-slanted original "I Stand Alone" and four remixes from Monty Luke, Secret Circuit, Blakkat, and Simonetti. Each remixer nails a different vibe: Monty Luke goes deep, Blakkat brings the tech-house heat, Simonetti lays on classic house flare, and Secret Circuit molds the tune into a wonky, cosmic trip. Stream the EP below, ahead of the April 14 release date.
