Killing It: The Lawsuit Edition

Deadmau5 has another tantrum, Skrillex gets sued, and more of this week's most tragic drops.

There's enough gossip going around the world of electronic music that it probably deserves its own TMZ, Gawker, and Perez Hilton. We keep track of the drama, the beef, the LOLs, the dramatic build-ups, and the tragic drops so you don't have to. Now, let's see who killed it this week.

KREWELLA TROLLS TOO HARD
Really guys? This is your mixtape cover? We love you, Krewella, and we love a good troll—but please stop.

THIS WEEK IN DEADMAU5
Another week, another Internet tantrum from Deadmau5. According to the feisty EDM stalwart, some guy no one knows or cares about called "Wildstylez" is "jacking some of [his] chords". So Mau5man took it outside—er, we mean, into the studio—and broadcasted his attempt to make a hardstyle track in one hour via his website. Here's the thing, Joel: you're fucking RICH. Chill. Take a vacation. Go visit your cousin Mickey at a secret resort for the wealthy on Tan Penis Island. You're gonna give yourself ulcers.

POP ROYALS
Earlier this week at the BRIT Awards, Disclosure and Lorde (two mainstream acts we all pretend to hate but secretly love) performed together. And they didn't even rehearse. You mad??

SKRILLY GETS A SUIT
One of our "friends" was watching TMZ the other night and heard about some serious lawsuits broiling over the topic of crowdsurfing. People have been suing bands for crowdsurfing mishaps for ages, but now they've started on DJs, including our boy Skrillex. The festival kingpin was slapped with a lawsuit after he jumped into the crowd at a show in downtown LA, landed on a fan, and caused her to have a stroke. We still wish Sonny would jump on us, though.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY FROM PARIS

On Valentine's Day, Sound Pellegrino bossman Teki Latex teamed up with Eero Johannes for a song and video titled "Things That I Do." The clip stars a cartoon Teki and his girlfriend, Betty. It's so cute that we barfed candy hearts all over the VICE office.
