SuperUber Takes Us Deep Sea Diving

Our Brazilian Creators develop an interactive immersive environment that takes visitors on a trip under the sea.

Because of its mysterious, inaccessible nature, the deep sea has always been a frontier that catalyzes our imaginations. The latest project from our Creators SuperUber, released earlier this month, depicts this beguiling sea world in high definition, creating an immersive, interactive environment at the Coral Reef Natural Park Visitor Center, in Rio de Janeiro.

The images are projected on large coral reef-shaped screens that take over the space and invite users to discover the sea of Buzios through an interactive virtual ecosystem. There are four interactive displays that provide information about local marine species, natural phenomena and underwater ecosystems through maps, games, and interventions that show the consequences of certain species becoming extinct, for example. It works as both a work of art and an educational installation that helps visitors understand what’s at stake in the discussion regarding marine life and climate change.
