Nick Zinner's 1,001 Favorite Photographs

New photography exhibition with the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s guitarist opens Oct 19th.

While Nick Zinner is best known as the rocking guitarist of the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, on the Creators Project we’ve become better acquainted with his artistic side—namely, the incredible music- and photography-based installation he created for our Creators Project launch events. Before being catapulted to rock stardom, Zinner studied as a photographer at Bard and even has four photo books to his name, including most recently Please Take Me Off the Guest List. His constant touring (the band just celebrated ten years since their first live gig at the Mercury Lounge) provide photo opportunities for him that the rest of us can only dream of. In association with Vice, Zinner will be presenting an exhibition of his own work, entitled (and consisting of) 1,001 Images at the Levi’s Workshop on 18 Wooster Street in New York. In addition, there will be a special live performance by an artist currently dominating Nick’s personal playlist.
