At a time of trauma, it can seem facile, churlish, even immoral to talk of anything other than the source of that trauma. And yet, you will have to eat breakfast. You will still need something to drink. Dinner will happen nonetheless. Food is part of the fabric that binds us, across age, across accents, across oceans, across nations.

Here is an almost-perfect depiction of my Year 8 PE class in which I—nine stone and counting—tried to do floor gymnastics surrounded by a group of pre-adolescent girls in cycling shorts and white vests, to the haunting strains of Berlin's 1986 hit "Take My Breath Away." Ever since I took a misty dawn swim in a near-freezing pond surrounded by semi-naked women last week, I've had the most insatiable craving for cinnamon buns. One explanation, of course, is because the pecan-topped cinnamon bun tray one of the frigid paddlers brought with her was so still-warm delicious, that I thought I might accidentally go down on it. The other is that the only thing that can make contemporary politics even vaguely palatable is industrial quantities of butter, sugar, spice, and all things nice.

What's the word for when you anthropomorphised a root vegetable, but into an animal? It is, I believe, "zoomorphism." Or, you know, dickheadery. Whichever you find easier to spell.

Добрый вечер друзья и обещанный творожный кекс, он очень вкусный нежная слегка маслянная текстура , творог совсем не ощущается , легкий аромат ванили и лимона . Готовиться очень просто! #inessa_food Рецепт. Ингредиенты: творог жирный -270 г. масло сливочное – 150 г. сахар -250 г. яйца куриные крупные – 3 шт. ванилин – 1 пакетик изюм или цедра лимона - 100г. разрыхлитель – 1 пакет мука – 300г. Приготовление: Размягченное масло взбиваем с сахаром и ванилином до однородного состояния. Затем добавляем мягкий творог (если творог зернистый, обязательно протрите его через сито!) и взбиваем до однородного состояния. Затем добавляем сразу все яйца и взбиваем до получения однородной кремообразной массы. Теперь просеиваем сверху всю муку с разрыхлителем (разрыхлитель должен быть рассчитан на 500 г муки). Сверху на муку высыпаем промытый и обсушенный изюм. Или цедру лимона я делала с ней. Теперь все спокойно перемешиваем ложкой или лопаткой до однородного состояния. Получаем довольно густое и вязкое тесто. Форму для кекса заполняем подготовленным тестом. Если у вас форма силиконовая, ее не нужно ничем смазывать. обычную форму выстилаем бумагой для выпечки или смазываем маслом и присыпаем мукой. Тесто хорошо поднимается при выпечке, поэтому оно должно заполнить форму не больше, чем на 2/3. Выпекаем наш кекс в разогретой до 165-170 градусов духовке около часа. Мне понадобился ровно час. Готовность проверяем деревянной шпажкой. Из готового кекса она выходит сухой. Даем кексу остыть в форме до теплого состояния. Затем вынимаем его и посыпаем сверху сахарной пудрой. Действительно изумительный кекс! Очень рекомендую!!! This is just your regular friendly reminder that if you eat a bunch of sticks, pine cones, needles, bark, and leaves it will do untold damage not only to your teeth and breath but it will also wreak havoc on your anus.
