Twitter User @Fart Weighs in on Edward Snowden’s New Twitter Account

Don’t drink anything while you watch this, because it might come out your nose.

As you might have heard, given that he already has over a million followers, Edward Snowden (@Snowden) joined Twitter yesterday. (He follows only one other user: @NSAGov.)

Naturally, some people are going to be upset that Snowden is allowed to be on Twitter. In the above clip, the host of HLN's The Daily Share compares Snowden to ISIS, saying that if ISIS Twitter accounts get shut down, shouldn't Snowden's be shut down too?

Skyping in to provide his opinion on the issue is Jon Hendren, Twitter user @fart. Hendren is a DevOps mastermind and expert jokester, as well as a prominent presence in Twitter's more irreverent circles. So when he starts out describing Snowden as "doing the most patriotic possible thing," I was surprised. Oh, he's gonna be a talking head now? With serious opinions?

Nope. The interview takes a turn shortly after. God bless America.

Credit goes to another super funny Twitter user and hilarious writer Jesse Farrar (@BronzeHammer) for filming his pal's first national TV appearance.
