Find Six Minutes of Bliss with This Darcy Baylis Remix of Slum Sociable’s “Anyway”

It doesn’t take long to realize you’re in safe hands with Slum Sociable. Two or three seconds into their debut single, “Anyway,” you’re already caught in a beautiful harp melody, rough cut and rearranged with a sampler. Ten seconds later there’s a dusty breakbeat, floating vocals and enough vibe for an eternity of bliss. We’ve been playing it on a loop in the mornings to make waking up and it’s made real life seem like less of a shock.

Melbourne producer Darcy Baylis has captured the same spirit with his new remix. Keeping the elevated mood, and upping the tempo, it’s the musical equivalent of sitting on a plane ready to leave for an extended vacation after receiving a complementary upgrade. Blue skies ahead, and a world of possibility.
