Fortnite Golden Hours is happening today in Chapter 7 Season 4. The special Power Hour features increased Gold Sprite variant spawn rates, additional starting items, and a better chance of finding Midas’ Masterpiece Pistol. What Time Is Fortnite Power Hour Today?

The first Fortnite Golden Hour starts today at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET on August 22, 2026. The Power Hour today gives players an increased chance of finding the new Fortnite Override Gold Sprites variants, which were just released yesterday.

Epic Games will host two separate Golden Hours sessions, with each one lasting two hours. The second Fortnite Power Hour today starts at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET, giving players another opportunity to participate later in the evening.

All Fortnite Golden Hours Rewards and Bonuses

The Fortnite Power Hour today increases the spawn rates of Gold Sprite variants across the Island. Players will also drop into each match with an additional Portable Extractor and a 1-Up Token, giving them an immediate advantage.

Midas’ Masterpiece Pistol will also be more likely to appear during both Golden Hours sessions. The powerful weapon deals additional headshot damage, making it an item worth tracking down while you hunt for rare Gold Sprites.

These bonuses will only be active during the scheduled Golden Hours periods. So if you are still missing one of the rarest Fortnite Override Sprite variants, you will want to make the most of both sessions.

Which Sprites Are Featured During Fortnite Golden Hours?

A total of 11 Gold Sprite variants are featured during the Fortnite Golden Hours Power Hour today. This includes Gold versions of popular Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprites such as Sonic, Tails, Shadow, Jonesy, and Klombo.

All 11 variants will have increased spawn rates during both Power Hour today sessions. However, the Gold Klombo Sprite and Gold Crown Sprite will likely be the most difficult to find since they are both Mythic rarity.

While all of the featured variants will appear more frequently, rarity still matters. That means you may encounter several Rare and Epic Gold Sprites before finding either of the Mythic variants.

How Long Does Fortnite Golden Hours Last?

Each Fortnite Golden Hour lasts two hours. Epic Games will host two sessions on August 22, giving players four total hours to take advantage of the increased Gold Sprite spawn rates and special gameplay bonuses.

You don’t need to participate in both sessions, but joining each one will give you the best chance of finding the Gold Klombo Sprite and unlocking the Gold Crown Sprite. The evening session also gives players another opportunity if they miss the first Power Hour earlier in the day.
