It's pretty tough being middle class, English, white, and into 90s rap music. You have to explain to everyone that when you say you like "rap music" you don't mean you are really digging Kanye Cocksuck or whatever other rap singer is storming through the charts that week. You have to painstakingly explain that you are really down, yo, and have been from Day One (well, OK, since 2006) with D.I.T.C., Mobb Depp, Gang Starr, Beatnuts, Group Home, Tribe etc. (but only ever their first two albums at most, make sure you say that or you could sound totally uncool).
