It's only been 15 years since the first remake of Ocean's Eleven, but Warner Brothers is already on track to make a new, female-only reboot of the franchise called Ocean's Eight, Deadline reports.

Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, and rapper Awkwafina are expected to finalize their deals and join the cast, which already includes Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett.

Steven Soderbergh, who masterminded the initial remake starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt, is also onboard as a producer.

The plot of Ocean's Eight isn't set in Vegas like the 2001 version or the original 1960 Rat Pack movie, though. This time around, the heist centers around the Met Gala in New York City, but director Gary Ross promises a similar tone as its predecessors.

"It's a really good script," Helena Bonham Carter told Entertainment Weekly last month. "And it's great for women. Just hilarious."

The film is still casting and has to find one more lead—Elizabeth Banks is being rumored to join—but a group of talented women is just what the internet needs to explode in hateful rage like it did with the announcement of an all-female Ghostbusters cast, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
