Syrian Boy Tripped By Camerawoman is Ronaldo's Mascot For the Day

Zaid Mohsen is on an award tour of Spain.

By all outward appearances, Cristiano Ronaldo is a nice guy. The latest thing to add to his nice guy scoreboard is taking on Zaid Mohsen as his mascot in Real Madrid's game against Granada today. You may remember Zaid as the child in the video of the camerawoman tripping a father and son as they fled the police from a refugee camp.

The Mohsens have been given something of an award tour around Spain lately, visiting Real Madrid, where seven-year-old Zaid kissed a picture of Ronaldo and eventually got to meet him. His father, Osama Abdul Mohsen, was even hired to be a coach at a local football academy.

In the video above, the kid appears to be so excited that he tries out Ronaldo's famous celebration move, to no avail.

At least this time he didn't fall down because of some horrible, horrible camerawoman.
