Georgetown RB Might Be Paralyzed After Breaking Neck

A football player's greatest fear.

While concussions have taken the forefront of debates about safety in football, there are a multitude of horrors that can occur on the field. Last night, one of the scariest injuries possible happened to Georgetown running back/linebacker, junior Ty Williams.

Sports Illustrated reports that Williams' neck was broken in a game against St. Francis, and was in surgery late last night. Coach John Kelley, Williams' coach from Quince Orchard High School in Maryland told reporter Michael Cornejo,

Kelley also added that Williams is "one of the best kids ever, hopefully things work out."
