Our Creators are a talented and prolific bunch, and our inbox is always overflowing with alerts of new remixes and mashups from the incredible DJs and producers in our line-up. We just couldn't keep these fresh new tunes to ourselves because, after all, filesharing is caring. Here are our top picks from the past week.David Bowie: “Suffragette City” (The Horrors cover)UK punk rock band The Horrors perform a super energetic rendition of David Bowie‘s “Suffragette City” for Channel 4’s On Track… program. Their electronic amping and Joshua Hayward’s (aka Joshua Third) badass guitar solo prove they can totally do glam… though they may need to work on their wardrobe. It is Bowie, after all.Brodinski and Gesaffelstein: Bromance #1If you’re a remix roundup regular then you’re well aware that Brodinski and the late DJ Mehdi were close friends and often performed and worked together. Since Medhi’s passing, Brodinski has founded a brand new music label with his pal Gesaffelstein. Their first split EP off Bromance (their awesomely-titled label’s name) is out Monday, but preview clips of the tracks can be heard above. They undeniably remind us of the party-til-dawn vibes at our Nuits sonores event. Stay tuned for Brodinski’s upcoming FabricLive mixtape, which will be a tribute to Mehdi.Star Slinger: “Dumbin’” feat. Reggie B (Diplo remix)Producer/DJ Star Slinger is a fairly new soul and psychedelic hybrid project out of Manchester, who recruits the deep and silky vocals of Missouri-based vocalist Reggie B for “Dumbin.’” The lusty R&B track gets some pick-me-up from Diplo, who plays up the seductiveness and down the fast-paced Moombahton stylings, adding static-y effects and a reverberating drums. Now go get yourself some love, it’s the weekend.CREATOR BONUS VIDEODJ Soulscape recontextualizes The Sound of Seoul mixtape based on a recent trip to New York City.
