This Video of Poodles Raving is the Most Confusing Thing on the Internet

Poodles and hardstyle are confusing enough notions even when held separately, but when you bring them together under the glare of a budget strobe light and shoot them with snuff film-style cinematography, the result will make you question the very fabric of of existence.

The above video showed up on the internet in August to very little fanfare. In it, approximately 20 poodles hop and wiggle in unison to what sounds like a hardstyle remix of Martin Garrix's "Animals." At the drop, they go into full-on bounce mode and before you have a chance to complete your thought about whether or not it's real, the video is over.

All we had was questions: Who shot this? Is it a fabrication? Why do poodles have such bad taste in music? Dogs can jump?!

We were just about to email Pasquale Rotella (with Cesar Milan on CC) and tell him that we had uncovered the future of rave culture, until a little further investigation led us to the following video:

We came crashing back down to reality. Some clever guy had taken this tuchus-wigglin' canine and memed it the fuck up. Dog raves, at least dog raves with synchronized dancing and terrible hardstyle, are not a thing.

Just because it isn't real, though, doesn't mean that it shouldn't be. Maybe it's time to take young Rover to the next EDC? Put your paws up! Put your fucking paws up!
