So here is a thing that recently happened: Johnny Manziel, decked out in a Cleveland Browns jersey, boarding a plane and squeezing into the cockpit for a selfie with the pilot. Manziel has remained in the news for partying to such an extent that his father called him a “druggie” and hoped for his own sake he winds up in jail, his pending domestic violence criminal case, and his hapless attorney, despite the effective end of his pro football career when the Browns released him earlier this year. Since then, he’s often been spotted with former teammate Josh Gordon, and apparently the two were traveling together today.
It could be that Manziel is wearing his buddy’s jersey—Gordon does wear No. 12 for Cleveland—and maybe Gordon is returning the favor by wearing a No. 2 jersey (a now cheap but friendly gesture). But it could also be that he’s wearing a Colt McCoy jersey, which is the better option of the two, in my opinion.
