These photographs were taken over the course of one year I spent living and working on a small farm in the Green Mountains of Vermont.
My days there might not have been as exciting as those I spent trying not to get stabbed in Nicaragua or asking shady characters in the Northwest for a ride, but the hippies and rednecks I befriended kept things moving.
Add in their shotguns, a few Jeep-loads of chickens, and the Green Mountains looming overhead, and time passed with a nice sense of simplicity.
