Like Tyrion Lannister says, "Everything's better with some wine in the belly." If you agree, you might be excited to know that HBO is producing official Game of Thrones wines. HBO Global Licensing announced Tuesday that they've teamed up with Vintage Wine Estates to produce a "proprietary" red blend, a Cabernet Sauvignon, and a Chardonnay that will each cost between $19.99 and $39.99 a bottle.

No word on how the wines will compare to the famous Dornish reds of Westeros.

"Any fan of Game of Thrones appreciates the role wine plays in the saga," Pat Roney, president and CEO of Vintage Wine Estates, said in a press release. "We are very excited to partner with HBO to give those fans some delicious wines to sip as they plot their own paths to the Iron Throne."

Jeff Peters, director of licensing and retail at HBO, added that, "Given the prominent role of wine on Game of Thrones and our previous success in the beverage category, an officially licensed wine for the show feels like a natural extension for our fans." HBO previously partnered to create Game of Thrones beer.

The wines will be on sale in spring of 2017 and the seventh season of Game of Thrones will return next summer. So while we still don't know when George R. R. Martin will finally finish the next book in the series that the show is based on, perhaps he can work through the writer's block with a couple goblets of Seven Kingdoms wine.
