Never get old.

Tom Thibodeau is set to join the Minnesota Timberwolves as president of basketball operations and head coach, according to Yahoo's the Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical. Reports have Thibs getting as much as $10 million a year, which is great but get a load of this picture, man. Look at that man. Look at that hair.

According to Wikipedia, Thibs began his pro coaching career with the Timberwolves, which explains Steve Aschburner's prodigal son reference in the tweet. His first season in Minnesota was 1989, the same year Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade came out. Taylor Swift may or may not have been born yet. And there were businesses up front, and parties in the back. Heady days.

I wish I could see Young Thibs in his element, howling at players and referees so much that his hockey hair trembled. He's so brooding he could be on a glam rock album cover. It's also a cautionary reminder to never, ever get old. Just look at the image on the right, which is from August 11, 2015, some 26 years after he joined the Wolves:

Life comes at you fast.
