A Closer Look at the Transylvanian Disco of Luke Million

Xylophones, drum machines, synths and security vision on this video from the Adelaide producer.

Last time we checked in with synth-specialist Luke Million he'd just signed to leading Sydney label etcetc. We celebrated with the premiere of "Light and Sound", an animated video for the title track that delivered everything it promised and more. Luke has a lightness of touch and a sound all his own, and the EP was vibrant modern dance in full technicolour.

"Transylvania Disco" from the release is drawn from the darker shades of dance. It's an authentic Italo jam played in suspenceful slow motion. We've been blasting it on late night road trips through the back-roads of Eastern Europe, and now we can watch the magic unfold in a new video directed by Maryada Rehling, graduate of MAPS film school in Adelaide. Working with technicians Jackson Turner and Trent Ninos, the crew have perfectly captured the early 80's vibe of the original, and pieced together some crafty security camera vision of Luke Million's multi-layered performance.

Watch the video, and stay tuned for news of Luke Million's next single Fear The Night with Jesse Davidson here.
