ESPN Panelist Gets Enormous Tattoo of Fernando Torres' Face to Settle Bet

Making good on a bet is one thing, but Craig Burley got a gigantic tattoo of Fernando Torres' face on his arm to satisfy one.

Former Chelsea midfielder and current ESPN FC panelist Craig Burley made an off-hand comment about Fernando Torres at the end of a show last week and, oh boy, did it ever come back to bite him. While discussing, among other things, someone getting a tattoo of Francesco Totti taking a selfie and the futility of Fernando Torres, Burley exclaimed he would get a tattoo of Torres on his arm if he scored a goal in Atletico Madrid's Copa del Rey matchup with Real Madrid. Not only did Torres score, but he scored 50 seconds into the match. And then he scored again!

Burley, a man of his word, scoped out tattoo parlors in Bristol and took a camera crew with him to get the tattoo. It's great that he didn't welch on the bet, but good lord, man, did you have to make it so big? Look at this thing, it takes up his whole forearm:
