Jack White’s record label, Third Man Records, is all about preserving the aesthetic of the record, operating as a store, label, and production house to oversee the whole process. But that’s not to say they’re totally old school. Third Man reinterprets the way records are packaged — releasing glow-in-the-dark 45s, tri-colored 45s, and even peach scented Karen Elson LP’s. Their latest 12" release for the Dead Weather single “Blue Blood Blues” features not only a live B-side, but also a 7" of an unreleased track INSIDE the 12". From the looks of the online store they seem to have sold out for now. Would you jump on the chance to break after buying?
