DJ Hoodies - The Weirdest Hoodies We've Ever Seen

Designers turned two normal hoodies into a DJ battle interface.

Ok, so we’re not quite sure what to make of this oddity, but it definitely scores points for “creativity” and “innovation.” This DJ Hoodie looks like a hoodie-meets-straight-jacket contraption that could double as a torture device in A Clockwork Orange, but we’re utterly fascinated with it nonetheless. Developed by Mika and Clemens Pichler for a performance at STWST in Linz, Austria, the hoodies are equipped with 4 channel zipper switches, fabric buttons with LED indicators and fabric pressure sensors, and are connected with knitted stretch sensors on the hoods. During their performance, the two DJs were able to battle it out by spontaneously sampling sound from cassette players and applying filters.
