Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight ran for a first down and bought a few extra yards with his legs early in the game against Baylor as he soared over Bears safety Terrell Burt. It was a second-and-ten play from the Baylor 41-yard line and Knight scrambled out of the pocket to avoid the blitz, finding plenty of room to run down the sideline. As he passed the the first-down marker, he came face to face with Burt and just jumped right over him.Knight picked up 18 yards and got the Sooners to the Baylor 23 on the play. Oklahoma went on to score on an eight-yard pass to Michiah Quick to take a 7-3 lead and now have a 14-3 lead at the end of the first quarter.[FS1]
