UMass Kicker Misses Game-Tying Field Goal, Gets Hug From Vandy Lineman

UMass kicker gets hug from Vandy player because he won't be getting one from his teammates.

This is very sad, but also maybe a little heartwarming. Vanderbilt narrowly avoided an upset to UMass with a late-game comeback, going up 34-31 with 1:08 left in the game. UMass then took the ball and drove to the Vandy four-yard line with two seconds left and readied for overtime, since a 22-yard field goal from Blake Lucas was all but academic. Except he missed. Badly. Vanderbilt won and Lucas probably wanted to crawl under a rock for the rest of his life. What better time for a hug?

I like to think that Vanderbilt lineman Adam Butler immediately felt guilty about celebrating right in front of Lucas's face and decided to give him a hug to lift his spirits. Unfortunately, Lucas did not hug him back and looked exactly like a kid getting a hug from his mom in front of all his friends at school.
