Andy Murray Blows Up Teammate's Spot with "Girlfriend on the Go" Talk

Andy Murray inadvertently caused his teammate some relationship turmoil when he joked about a girlfriend on the go with them in Glasgow. Turns out his teammate has a girlfriend who was watching the interview.

After Andy Murray won his Davis Cup match against John Isner today he and his Great Britain teammates did a lighthearted interview with Eurosport that very quickly went awry. Murray was being goofy and talking about Dominic Inglot maybe celebrating with "a little girlfriend on the go here in Glasgow" later in the evening and Inglot's face immediately freezes. Everyone's having a good laugh and Inglot is still nonplussed until he finally reveals that he actually does have a girlfriend who was likely watching the interview as it unfolded.

Inglot later clarified on Twitter that there was no girl on the side, and that Murray was just giving him the business.

Just to clarify, there is no girl on the side. The joke interview was just a joke. All banter with @andy_murray

Or not.
