After 16 years of working in fine dining, Bunker Vietnamese’s Roy Zapanta & Jimmy Tu were not able to relate to their customers and quit. With no money, they opened Bunker at a small spot in Queens. Despite a rough start, the restaurant ended up receiving acclaim by accomplishing their one goal: staying true to the streets that made them.
