NEW YORK - ARE WE HIGH OR SOMETHING?

So for some reason last night I was trying to remember the name of that "Money money money… MONEY" song and fell face-first into one of the thickest and most tangly internet conundrums I have yet encountered. Go to this guy's profile. I'll admit that he's set low-res Google pictures to an impressive array of mediocre songs, but how the hell does that warrant the nearly 400 subscribers? Did the laziest, most boring segment of the country's population just discover computers or is this some youtube thing that came and went when I had the flu back in September like the "leave Britney alone" kid? (Incidentally, that video illustrates the same principle at work in these gems where it no longer matters whether or not the person who made it is "serious" or not, since coming up with the idea as a joke essentially requires a genius-level grasp of funniness.) Anyhows, here are a few of the best things that actual human beings who exist wrote in the money one's comments…

"mmmmhmmm money money money

"good video from the Pyramids to the ones on the dollar bills. People will do anything for money then and now/"

-

"This is THE Song. It tells the truth!"

-

"we use to dance in our roller skates to this song. every saturday at the skating rink. in good ole Florida.
terrific layers. the bass is so natural!"

-

(from a sub-thread about the O'Jays' bassist) "Yeah, I just learned about him two days ago as he was mentioned in a bass magazine. It's a classy bassline and shows exactly what you can do over around a few notes."

-

"It is one of the best songs of the 70's. It should be our National Anthem. You know the old saying 'money talks BS walks.' "

-

"I am a professional online marketer making great cash. Survival of the fittest my friend."

-
"whats with the pyramids, grand canyon and is it vatican being repeated over and over again. I can only guess that its a representation of exploit on the pyramids, control of the vatican church and destruction of nature, all for the grand picture of money. Thats all I can think to relate the 2. Magic song all the same."
