Hailing from Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, occasional VICE staff writer John Sharkey is currently residing in Canberra, the city of fireworks and porno. His band Puerto Rico Flowers will play their first show of the year on Friday March 26th, 2010 at Yah Yah's in Fitzroy, Victoria. A beautiful part of the world, people there are usually friendly and motivated, though some instances of dissent fueled by alcohol have occurred so please be careful. There will be 5 songs performed with very little in-between chatter. No time for such nonsense when there are great songs to be played. After the songs are finished, patrons may either leave the building, or remain to drink or to pester the band as they try to leave or sell merchandise. It's really up to you.
PRF will be joined by Night Terrors and Alexandria.
