LONDON - PIVOT FOR LIFE

Does anyone even remember a time when Warp didn't do bands? If you do: congratulations. You are old. How does it feel? Here is a track by one of the outfits the once bleep-and-breakbeat-only label has decided to put out who aren't just one man and a machine. Pivot, in fact, is three people and several machines. Wow! I'd forgotten about this band until recently when I saw them play in Berlin with The Big Pink. They were awesome. So there you go, there's a lesson for you: bands are for life, not just two white-label releases and a half-full gig at the Kilburn Luminaire. Click down there for a listen.
