Micki Pellerano went through some heavy rituals to find the gates and passages to manifest this level of surreality.

Revelation

There are very few things that get fuzzier the closer you try to look into them: a dream, for instance, or a sweater. Performance and visual artist Micki Pellerano’s drawings fall into this space too, addressing a conversation that’s happening beyond the actual imagery, which is heavily influenced by the occult and mythology. Each of them looks like it took a lifetime to create, both because of the detail and the subject matter addressed. Like, dude went through some heavy rituals to find the gates and passages to manifest this level of surreality. A collection of his works, called Revelations, opens tonight. Don your finest veil and go.
