Seattle duo ODESZA today shared a tender new single from their recently announced third album A Moment Apart. "Higher Ground" features Los Angeles singer Naomi Wild, and delivers introspective ambiance styled with gliding synths and upbeat, hip-hop percussion. The track balances singer-songwriter sensibilities and a summer festival-ready chorus, showing that lovelorn sadness can be right at home at dance-centric main stages.

THUMP interviewed Odesza about their new album earlier this month, where they discussed the pressure that comes with fame, collaborating with Regina Spektor, and why they wanted to make A Moment Apart "a little dark and edgier."

In anticipation of the upcoming 11th entry of their ongoing "NO.SLEEP" mix series, the duo also recently added some new songs to their NO.SLEEP Spotify playlist.

A Moment Apart will be released by Ninja Tune imprint Counter Records on September 8, and is available for pre-order.
