Minority gun club membership is booming in the wake of the 2016 election

The resurgence of white supremacy movements in the wake of the 2016 election has incited fear among some minority groups that violence seen on viral videos from Trump rallies could become common.

Now, gun clubs and self-defense groups geared toward minorities are reporting hikes in membership. Race-based violence is not a new fear for many, but the current political climate has made them more inclined to purchase a firearm. VICE News correspondent Antonia Hylton travels to Atlanta to see how some African-Americans are planning to protect themselves.
