By now we’re all aware that we’re currently living through an incredibly exciting time for radio, and if you’re not regularly tuning into NTS or Radar or Balamii or Rinse or Reprezent then you’re missing out on show after show of sheer excellence. One of the most excellent shows of the lot is Motion, the Friday night spectacular on Reprezent, presented by Naina. We’ve featured the show on THUMP before, teaming up with Naina for mixes from the likes of DJ Taye and UNiiQU3, and because those sets were so good, we’ve decided to do it all over again.
Last week Naina’s guest was one of favourite selectors around: Nightwave. The Heka Trax boss rolled through with a seriously strong 40 minute set stuffed to the gills with the kind of gravity free bass music that she’s become synonymous with, and Naina’s let us let you lot have a listen to it right now. And trust us, any mix that features this footworking take on Cherelle and Alexander O’Neal’s timeless “Saturday Love” is worth a listen.
