Brooklyn-based trio Celestial Shore‘s debut full-length is just nine songs deep, but trust, no one’s getting short-changed. Case in point: “Swimmer’s Sinking Feeling,” the LP’s closing track, is an opus in four acts. Empress Of‘s Lorely Rodriguez croons gently atop glittering guitars and haunting harmonies—that is, until the entire song collapses into a raucous and screeching coda. If this is the end, we can’t wait to hear the beginning. 10x is out September 3rd via Hometapes and Local Singles Records.
