Low Concept’s “Bugz” Will Make You Dance Like You Have Ants In Your Pants

Daniel Fisher, aka Physical Therapy, always has the best press photos. He’s topped the softly glowing cowboy pic from our interview with him last summer and the series of incognito head shots from his recent Resident Advisor feature with the picture above, which looks like a yearbook photo shows Fisher alongside Ville Haimala from Finnish production duo Renaissance Man. Together, they’ve crafted a pair of barebones bangers for Jack Dixon’s White Asega label under the moniker Low Concept. Their debut 12″, Bugz, drops September 8, but we’ve got an exclusive stream of the title track ready to go. “Bugz” is a bottom-heavy jam with little instrumentation besides lots of bass and an itchy “more bugs, bugs” vocal sample that’s tinged with metallic vocoder effects. It gave our limbs the creepy crawlies.
